Learn how districts
are using digital video technology to foster engagement, promote
student-centered learning, and inspire achievement. Each attendee
receives a Kodak HD video camcorder (worth $150). Attendees also
receive Tool Factory's Adventures in Technology book (worth $20),
which includes a host of technology-based lesson plans for English,
science, math, and social studies, Clip Art Station subscription
account (worth $35), plus a free 5-user annual subscription to the
Creaza Education online software suite (worth $100). Join us to
explore video technology with simple video editing to engage
students and enliven any subject. Create fun, curriculum-driven
videos using your new camcorder, then edit projects using Creaza
Education and share them on the web. More detailed training will
include the incorporation of still images to enhance video projects,
and how to use sound to change a video's effect. This hands-on
workshop makes video production a snap!

presented by South Carolina school districts and SCDE on PowerSchool
7.2 and changes in agency applications and processes.
Other topics will include: Statewide Longitudinal Data System (SLICE), Student Potential Performance Snapshot (SPPS), Graduation Planner eIGP, SIF and PowerSchool State Reporting.
